Ball & Chain World Famous Bar & Lounge is a live music venue in Miami, Florida with dining, cocktails and dancing offered all day. The business first opened its doors in 1935 as the Ball & Chain Saloon and attracted important performers such as Count Basie, Chet Baker and Billie Holiday. In the mid-1990s, the vacant building was renovated and reopened as the Ball & Chain, restoring the venue to its former glory as a live music eatery.
Ball & Chain serves traditional Cuban food and drink and has a live music rotation of salsa, mambo, jazz and much more. Music can be heard in the expansive indoor seating area or on the patio, which features a pineapple-shaped stage.
